Alot of people might not know that you make alot of money by just recycling botlles. So instead of throwing away your botlles you can collect them and collect money for those botlles. You can also pick them up from the streets, this will also keep out streets clean.

The Thunder wins the series after an exciting game 7 in which they beat Memphis by 15 points. Thunder fans must be very excited that their team reached the finals.

Do's and don't for taking an interview

Do:

1. Remember that 7% of your impact comes from the words you say; 38% from how you say it (your tonal quality); and 55% from what your body is doing while you’re speaking. (UCLA study)
2. Know that “you” is the most persuasive word in the English language, so the more you can say, “As I’m sure you know,” or “As I’m sure you’ve heard,” (Yale Univ. Study) the more easily others will respond to you.
3. Sound happy when you say, “I’m happy to meet you.” (Not to mention, look your interviewer in the eye and shake their hand firmly.)
4. Keep your hands where we can see them—out of pockets when standing, on the table when sitting. We trust you when we can see your hands, we don’t trust you when we can’t.
5. Research the company/interviewer exhaustively. What’s their bestselling product/mission statement/biggest competitor? Why specifically do you want to work for them? How exactly are you going to contribute to their success?
6. Have the answers to ‘softball questions/inquiries’ (questions so big you don’t know what to swing at) such as, “What was your favorite thing about your last job?” or “Tell me about yourself.” These should be grounded in a story such as, “My favorite thing about my last job was the opportunities I had to work with my team. For example, we once had 24 hours to put together a presentation….”
7. Have the answer to, “What’s your greatest strength/weakness?” (FYI: Your greatest weakness is just a strength taken to an extreme, “I’m so interested in my subject, I tend to inundate people with detail about it. But I’m learning to pick and choose what information will be most effective,” etc. )
8. Record a professional voice mail greeting, as this is the first contact many potential employers will have with you. Stand while you record it, smile, inhale, hit record, speak on an exhalation.
9. Clean up your Facebook/MySpace/Twitter page. Any posts or photos that don’t say, “I can be trusted with $100,000” have to go.
10. Get a thank you note in the mail—either email, snail mail, or both—within 24 hours. In addition to acknowledging the time they gave you, this should reference a story you, or they, told. Give yourself bonus points if you can include a link to an article you mentioned, or hard copy of the same.

Don’t:

1. Use useless modifiers. (Great, amazing, incredible, etc.) Something is only one of these things if you tell me why.
2. Sit with a “too cool for school” attitude (leaning back, one leg crossed over the other, one arm thrown over the back of the chair.) Sit up and forward in your chair. Lean toward your interviewer. Smile.
3. Use ‘hope’ as a strategy—as in, “I hope nobody asks me that.” Prepare answers to the worst three questions you anticipate getting. Practice them out loud.
4. Forget you are interviewing from the time you arrive at the building—many employers can see you from the parking lot, or are in the elevator with you. This is not the time to brush your hair, remove your gum, finish your phone call about your date last night.
5. Arrive wearing MP3 headphones in your ears/sunglasses on your head/ carrying a bag that’s bulging with papers or old sandwiches, etc.
6. Leave your PDA on, or check your PDA during the meeting, at the elevator, or on your way from the restaurant table to the door. Nothing is more important than this interview.
7. Bad mouth your former employers. If you didn’t enjoy the experience, simply say you’re looking forward to still more challenges. Employers prize loyalty.
8. Think they won’t be examining your table manners as closely as your resume should you be asked to lunch. Be on time. Follow their lead with regard to ordering (Don’t get the whole, de-boned fish if they’re having salads.) Short of visible shards of glass or the possibility of anaphylactic shock, eat what you’re given.
9. Assume they will be helping you negotiate. Have a salary range in mind. While you should not bring up a number, if they ask, “What are you looking for?” you don’t want to choke.
10. Ask, “How did I do?” at the end of the meeting. Instead, you can inquire, “So, what’s my next step?”

Graduation

Once again that time has come when we feel a bitter sweet sensation at the bottom of our stomach. Yes, Graduation and GOOD BYES. Graduation marks the end of the hard work we did in school. It is the biggest reward that we can obtain for the persistence, determination, and dedication we put throughout our school days. Although it is a rewarding experience, we also feel a slight sadness within ourselves, an this is nothing less than normal. We feel this way because we have had many experiences in our place of study and school is the place we made friends and develop strong bonds. School is where we grow and develop into mature adults. We learn more than just academic disciplines. We learn how to treat others and manifest into respectful beings. All these experiences, however, will remain as memories to be cherished. True friends will always be friends regardless where they go and Graduation is just another milestione in the road of success.

There are many reasons as to why one should create a blog and I am here to share the reasons i decided to create a blog.
First of all, I created a blog because I want to share my thoughts and opinions with the world. Many times i have something to say and this blog will give me the opportunity to say it and someone will be there to listem.
Also, a blog can be useful to market or promote something. Next, this blog would allow me to help people who need advice or seek some sort of useful information. Similarly, I can also seek help from other people. Blogging will allow me to make a lot of friends and although we would not know each other face to face, we can still be friends. I will be able to stay connected with friends and family, as well as make a difference in the lives of many if i post some information that turns out to be extremely useful to another being, you never know. How to put out a fire

1. If your clothes are burning, immediately drop to the ground and roll back and forth quickly.
   
2. If the fire is large or spreading fast, evacuate the residence immediately, then call emergency to report the fire.
   
3. For fires on wood, paper and cloth, use water or a Class A fire extinguisher to douse the flames. Place small objects in the sink to help contain the fire.
   
4. If fat or grease in a pan starts burning, quickly slide a lid over the pan to cover it completely and cut off the oxygen supply. Turn off the heat.
   
5. For small grease fires, throw baking soda over the flames or use a Class B fire extinguisher.
   
6. For electrical fires, throw baking soda over the flames or use a Class C fire extinguisher.
   
7. If you have a fire in your oven, close the oven door and turn off the heat to smother the flames.
   
8. In general, try to put out a fire if it's small. But if the flames begin spreading, do not remain in the kitchen.
   
9. To prevent future fires, always keep your stove, oven and hood clean, and avoid overloading outlets or circuits with too many appliances.
   

How to make ice cream without a machine

1. Prepare your ice cream mixture, then chill it over an ice bath.
2. Put a deep baking dish, or bowl made of plastic, stainless steel or something durable in the freezer, and pour your custard mixture into it
3. After forty-five minutes, open the door and check it.
As it starts to freeze near the edges, remove it from the freezer and stir it vigorously with a spatula or whisk. Really beat it up and break up any frozen sections. Return to freezer.
4. Continue to check the mixture every 30 minutes, stirring vigorously as it’s freezing. If you have one, you can use a hand-held mixer for best results.
But since we’re going low-tech here, you can also use just a spatula or a sturdy whisk along with some modest physical effort.
5. Keep checking periodically and stirring while it freezes (by hand or with the electric mixer) until the ice cream is frozen. It will likely take 2-3 hours to be ready.
Transfer the ice cream to a covered storage container until ready to serve.

The Nuggets traded Carmelo Anthony to the New York Knicks  Denver gets Wilson Chandler, Raymond Felton, Danilo Gallinari, Timofey Mozgov, the Knicks 2014 first-round draft pick, the Warriors' 2012 second-round pick, the Warriors' 2013 second-round pick and $3 million in cash.
Anthony will go to New York, along with Chauncey Billups, Shelden Williams, Anthony Carter and Renaldo Balkman.

Tragedy in Belmopan

My heart broke into tears after reading the tragedy in Belmopan that a five year old little girl had been crushed to death by a bowen and bowen crystal truck. The parents of this little girl must be in immense grief at this moment, but they are the partially culpable of this tragedy. They should have known that their little girl is too young to be sent to school alone and, to make matters worse, on a bicycle. Indeed this was an accident waiting to happen. Everyday they should have ensured that they take their little girl to school and bring her back home. If it was not an accident, the little girl also faced the risk of being kidnapped.
It is sad to know that an infant who has barely had time to experience life has been taken away. This incident just shows that life is really unfair, but it does not have to be.  In such a situation is very important to reflect on the simplest things in life that we take forgranted. Time is precious and should be cherished, same goes with children. Those that have children should always ensure their safety and should never be left to wonder at their own luck. Those who drive must always be careful and keen of their surroundings. My condolences go out to the family of the little girl and may her innocent soul rest in peace.

What is Happening to our Children and Young People?

Reading the news article above has left me astounded. There is only one question that I can ask: what is happening to the young people of Belize? A boy of nineteen years old is hardly an adult. What is really shocking is the example a mother is setting for her young children. This incident is a perfect example of children doing what they see. I am very disappointed on the behavior of the thirty-two year old mother. Her responsibility is to ensure that her children are growing up in the most decent environment there is. She is doing the contrary. Let us say that drug trafficking is the only means of sustaining her family. If this was the case, she should have been more discrete and avoid letting her children get involved in such an act. More than likely, her children will now be left without a mother; however, it is hardly logical to call such a person a mother. Concerning the nineteen year old, yes he is considered an adult, but obviously has the mind of a child. He too must have been exposed to drug trafficking at an early age, and has continued in the bad influence until he has finally been caught. It is very difficult to have sympathy for a mother of such unscrupulous behavior. The only ones that I am worried about are the two minors. Probably they will be put in hostel. Maybe so they will develop positively, although what they have been exposed to will be difficult to erase from their minds. Only time can tell whether these two minors will get involved with drugs in the future, when they are adults as in the case of Alden Coleman. Fortunately, they were caught earlier in life.

I read the news article above. I was shocked to know that Lavern is facing charges so many days after the incident had occured. I personally know Lavern, and I believe that an injustice is being committed.. I hope Lavern's situation is alleviated, especially since she has a disabled son who really needs his mother. She is a good woman who has suffered a great deal, and like any other human being has had her limit.
